Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment Drivers are trained and tested over 47 skills of driving.

It makes sense that if an owner pays anything between $30,000.00 to $500,000.00 for a vehicle he or she would think it prudent to invest into the training of the driver of that vehicle to ensure that is is driven as the manufacturer designed it to be driven.

You would also want to know that the driver was deemed competent to be able to handle that vehicle to industry standards.

You would like to know that the drivers had been trained to handle the vehicle in traffic conditions which would be equivalent to driving in any of our capital cities or anywhere in Australia.

Our company Ogden's Driving School is also the owner and operator of Ogden's Coaches.

We have been in the Bus and Coach Industry since 1980 and operate 47 vehicles in Wellington, Mudgee, Gulargambone, Dubbo and Narromine.

We have been in the Driving School Industry for the past 12 years after the request by the RTA to the NSW Bus and Coach Association to provide suitable Industry people to train drivers under Competency Based Assessment (CBA).

We have three Heavy Vehicle Driving Instructors/Assessors with over 60 years of experience between them.

Major companies and the Government are demanding that we put better drivers on the road with more professional; attitudes to their work and the up keep of their vehicles.

Driver training is a sound investment.

Learner Drivers

Ogden's Driving School teaches Learner Drivers to drive using defensive driving techniques.

We place a lot of emphasis on building up the driver's confidence in a safe environment and then expanding these skills into the everyday driving situations.

Aged Drivers

Ogden's Driving School conducts special lessons for the older driver who has to be tested by the RTA because of age.

Our company trains drivers to obtain their Ministry of Transport Driver Authority. We have trained more drivers than any other company in NSW.

These courses are run on a regular basis and meet all of the obligations and requirements of the NSW Passenger Transport Act.
